Pre Employment Assessment Tests

A pre-hire assessment (or pre-employment assessment) is used as a screening technique within the job application process. Candidates are required to complete a questionnaire of skills based questions as part of the application process to assess their skills and match to an open role. Expert assessments based on valid, balanced questions can be an effective way to determine which applicants are the best qualified for a specific role based on their specific skills, strengths and preferences.

Assessment tests that are scientifically-based (such as cognitive and personality assessments) can significantly improve accuracy of recruiting in the hiring process by identifying the candidates with the highest propensity to succeed within the role. Assessment test results can yield more accurate results than human judgement when it comes to evaluating which candidates will be the best fit for the role.

Pre employment assessments can also accurately analyze the potential future job performance of candidates by using algorithms to assess and analyze data points within their test results to identify their strengths, weaknesses and preferences.
